Day 1 of the 42nd Newport International Boat Show was a success. We spent the day meeting new friends and catching up with all of our old friends. There was a good turn out at the start of the day and it seemed to carry us through past show closing.

Boatshed Newport was in the house for the final day of racing at the America's Cup World Series. It was yet again a fantastic day although the winds a bit calmer. The first race featured Oracle Teams USA Spithill and Coutts in a final heat with Coutts the triumphant winner. He claims the title for the most America's Cup victories.
Boatshed Newport was at the America’s Cup Village at Fort Adams today, which was swarming with people from around the world here to witness the spectacular race. Everywhere I walked I heard a foreign language spoken and it was a beautiful day.
