All Finngulfs are built in accordance with the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) 94/25/CE and in addition the Finngulf 41 has been certified to category ‘A’ – Ocean by VTT.

Construction of all Finngulfs is vitally important and the FG41 is hand-laminated GRP sandwich with 20mm foam core and for longevity the gel coat is NGA (UV protected). Water and fuel tanks are of stainless steel construction of 150+95 litre and 145 litres respectively. A 77 litre holding tank with pump out facility is also installed.

Below decks the Finngulf 41 is available in two configurations with either single ‘owners’ aft cabin or twin aft cabins. A choice of satin varnished teak or mahogany woodwork is available and upholstery is available in standard colours of dark blue or light beige.

She is powered by a 40hp fresh water cooled diesel engine via a saildrive and for easy maintenance all filters and strainers are readily accessible. The engine drives a 3 bladed folding propeller.

The rig is a fractional tapered aluminium mast, stepped on keel with swept double spreaders. A manual hydraulic back stay tensioner is fitted as standard. Overall sail area is 52m2 mainsail and 140% genoa of 53m2. A spinnaker of 126m2 is available.
